Enterprise Data Journal (EDJ) User Agreement:

1)    Copyrights and Trademarks

A. All materials contained on the Web Site are Copyright, Enterprise Data Journal, unless otherwise identified. All rights reserved.

B. You may quote excerpts of material or statements from EDJ as long as you attribute BOTH the author and EDJ.  For example, “As stated by (Author’s Name), in the (July 2009) issue of Enterprise Data Journal…”

C.  You may not modify, publish, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or otherwise exploit (commercially or non-commercially) the content of this site, in whole or in part, without gaining specific agreement and permission from the publisher.  The terms of agreement for EDJ to grant permission to re-publish or re-use may include compensation, depending on the context of the request.

D.  All Enterprise Data Journal trademarks, service marks, logos and designs belong to Enterprise Data Journal and Wilshire Conferences, Inc. (the parent of EDJ).  Such marks, logos and designs may not be used under any circumstances without the prior written authorization of Enterprise Data Journal or Wilshire Conferences.

E.  Any copyright infringements of the website content and other copyrighted material will result in prosecution according to the international copyright law and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DCMA).

2)    Contributions to the Web Site

Where you submit any contribution to Enterprise Data Journal (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) you agree, by submitting your contribution, to grant Enterprise Data Journal a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licenseable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, make available to the public, and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your contribution worldwide and/or to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution. If you do not want to grant to Enterprise Data Journal the rights set out above, please do not submit your contribution.

3)    Links to Third-Party Web Site

Enterprise Data Journal may provide hyperlinks to third-party web sites as a convenience to users of the Web Site. Enterprise Data Journal does not control third-party web sites and is not responsible for the contents of any linked-to, third-party web sites or any hyperlink in a linked-to web site. Enterprise Data Journal does not necessarily endorse, recommend or approve any third-party web site hyperlinked from the Web Site. Enterprise Data Journal will have no liability to any entity for the content or use of the content available through such hyperlink.

4)    Subscription/Membership

When you register with us, you are registering as an individual. You should not share your User ID or Password with anyone. The information this access provides is intended for your use only, or for those with whom you designate to have access. By signing up to receive content from this site, you agree to receive occasional informational and promotional materials from Enterprise Data Journal and/or Wilshire Conferences, for additional related information products and services, such as, but not limited to, conferences, webinars, reports, and training.  If you wish not to receive information about related services, please send an email request with the subject line of “EDJ Subscriber Request – No Additional Promotional Messages” and you will be placed on a suppression list which will exclude you from such messages.
